Google wants to make sure that you are making the best of your account wherever you are by adding an optimization score to the main screen.
If you don’t know what optimization score is, it is basically an estimate of how well your account is forecast to do. It is measured in percent, where 100% means your account is set to perform at the maximum potential. For example, to get Google Partner status, agencies need to have 70% and higher optimization score.
Each campaign will have recommendations aimed to better their performance. But note that they are created automatically and cannot replace the advice of a real marketer. Users can check the optimization score exclusively for Search, Shopping, and Display campaigns.
Campaigns with recommendations that can have the highest possible impact are going to be shown on the top of the list.
You can also turn on notifications when your score is changing, so you can keep your finger on the pulse of status and recommendation for your campaign.
