Not long ago, Twitter introduced the ‘Manipulated Media’ label. But in order to make it more effective it seeks ways to make, it seeks ways to make it more obvious in the feed.
It may have both positive and negative effects. Although it may address the issue of using deepfake and edited content to promote misinformation, some have problems with how the platform actually applies this tag.
It’s interesting to see how this label and policies around it will evolve, and hopefully, it will be used to prevent the misuse of the platform only.
